A weekend in my life

The last weekend was very awesome, so I want to share it with you.

I woke up Friday and started to finish a homework from workshop class. I did it very fast, because was late to go to university, told my mother to make me something to eat quickly and ran from the bus stop. I lost the bus and had take a taxi to Buin (I’m from Paine), there I took the same bus that passed through in the stop. In the bus I found a friend who gave me some pot because he stole it to his mother. That made me happy.

I arrived to university and teacher was late, anyway, nothing could sadden me. We (with my Paine’s friend) were organized something from the night, the result was that I lent my house for this, my mom knew when my friend started to arrive. Was great, we sang and drank a lot.

Saturday was better. It was supposed that I’d go to Santiago to make an analysis with a partner. My friend came and we just talk about the project, the day was beautiful. At least 4 pm I left my house to saw other friends who were drank at the train line. Almost 8 pm we went to our own house, but I received a call from other friend, I saw them and drank a little more. Like 11 pm I said bye to this friends and go to my grandmother’s house, because there would have pizza (an uncle came to visit her). There I ate pizza and drank some wine. At 2 am we (with my mother and sisters) went to our house, there I connected to internet and received a message from a friend who wanted to drink something. I fell asleep when began to get light.

My long weekend

The last week was very wearying, Thursday I went without sleep to the university and Friday wake up early in the morning to do more homework, so I expect the weekend with so much longing.

The Friday, after arrive to my house from university (about 9 pm), I was waiting for someone who invited me to out partying, a friend told me to drink something at the night, but other friend came to my house and invited me to a birthday party. It was great, I came to my house at 7 am.

The Saturday I was spending my time trying to pass the dreadful hangover that let on me the night party. I was supposed to progress the homework, but I did nothing, just stay in bed. Slept early.

The Sunday woke up late and went to my grandmother house to ate lunch because came an uncle with his girlfriend. At the night we ate sausage sandwich and then I went to celebrate the birthday of a friend. We dance and laught a lot, I told to my friend “all these drunk people is because of you, today everything is for you” :’)

The Monday was for be relax and think about how to star all the homeworks for the week.

Alice

This is my favorite band. Alice in Chains is a grunge band from Seattle (the cradle of this genre) EEUU. They formed in 1987 but I found it when was 15 years old, just 5 years ago. Was instant love, I started to search them music and download it. I was a melancholy young guy who wants to suffer more and more listening sad music. But this is like a fury suffer, sad lyrics with a heavy metal sound and a deep voice. They are awesome.

The vocalist died in 2002, and the band was divided. But, in 2013 they gathered with a new voice to make a new disco “the devil put dinosaurs here”, album that brought the band to Chile the same year.

September 30^th was when I go to watch’em in Movistar Arena, I bought the ticket with a credit card and paid it little by little. The concert was awesome, I was really excited (and a little drunk) . I went with my uncle (brother of my mother), he knew a few songs of the band but his best friend invited him.

My sister

Well, I’m going to talk about my sister, she is 2 years younger than me, we grow up together, always playing games when we were children, making pranks and hiding the evidence, she is my confidant and my first partner. This year she is coursing her last year of school and is preparing herself to make the PSU test, and then if she got the score necessary she will start to study law. But it doesn’t matter; she is a really cheerful girl, always with a smile and a joke to say, always ready to help people and listen the problems that you could have. She likes to sing, go out to parties with her friends and watch movies and series. On important dates we sing together (I play guitar, or try) to liven up the family parties and many times we had dedicated songs to our relatives. We really have a nice relationship, we have many common friends and we can go to parties together, she always cover me when I go to any place without permission, and vice versa. I always remember a game we play after every lunch, it was called “risa risona” and was consist in make laugh to the other when is drinking juice, the person who laugh and expel the juice from the nose is the loser.  

10 years time

I believe that in 10 years time I’ll be living on my own house in the south of Chile, or maybe Australia (to meet this country is my biggest dream), in a house designed by me. I’ll be living there with my wife and 5 or 6 children (I want to have a big family), and with many animals too: dogs, cats, cows, horses and donkeys. All the weekends I’ll meet with my friends, my parents and sisters to spendsome time drinking and laughing, everyone having a good time.

Well, I really want to live in a house designed by my, so I think I would be working as a professional architect in an innovative project related with environment and its preservation. Obviously, I would be graduated from the course, just in the middle of my career as a professional architect developing new projects, probably an eco-friendly modernist pub. I will be living with the love of my life and our kids; I picture myself being really happy to be honest. I don’t know if I would have achieved something important as a major prize or something in the field of architecture, but it’s not in my plans to become someone famousor that kind of stuff.

The world around me will be more destructive than it is already now days, enterprises and corporations would own the major part of the world. I don’t think that the future is going to be any better, that’s way I plan to work in something that can help our environment from ‘‘the bad guys’’, keeping it green and stopping erosion. I hope that I can contribute to develop a less destructive and apathetic society from the field of architecture but also by being someone conscious.

The south

Summer is my favorite season of the year, there happen all the great things, vacations, pools, melon with wine, corncob cake, etc. But last summer was the best. I went to backpack to the south of Chile with my friends. I remembered that spend many part of my vacations working, and then waiting for my money, when the money arrives I took my backpack and got a bus to Valdivia (with one of my best friends, his mom bought us the ticket), there was waiting us two friends.

We arrived to Valdivia and searched a camping to let our things and go to meet the city. We went to Niebla beach, the sun was great and I finished all burned. To the night we took a drink in the coastal, many drinks. I thought that everything was awesome and beautiful, I know nothing, like John Snow. The next day we start to move us early in the morning to Ranco Lake, people told us that was beautiful and we could camp anywhere. We was making finger in the 5 south route when I good men stopped and help us to arrive to the lake, he carry us to a beautiful beach, with clear water (you could see everything in the bottom), and then carry us to another city to bought food and other things. I spend all the time swimming. Again I get a great tan.

We was keep meeting the south, but I will tell you the rest of the story another day.   

FELIPE POTTER

Well, I'm an architect student and really attract me to work one day desinging buildings and these things, but I always wanted to be a kind of artist, a person who work with the element on his environment, I would like to be a Potter.
A potter is someone who use clay to make pots, implements, utensils or equipment to be used in the general life, like plates or dishes or some things just to decoration. Potter make piggy banks too, an important stuff to save money. 
When I was a kid spend my time sculpting animals and anything that I imagined, I really love made things with my hands, people thought that I was good, and I sold them my crocks. 
Till today think that I'm very patient to work, I could be hours and hours sitting on a place (always with nice music) making some handicrafts, I think that is a charasteristict who help me to be an architect student, to make the job very well, and resist the frustration when the way becomes dificult (many times). This why I think that I can be good at this trade, patient is all you need.
I always admire the potters of Pomaire, how they make a lot of things with just mud and his hands, maybe they aren't riches, just get to survive and keep working, but I always think that they are very happy, connecting they lives with the land who lives, understanding what is surrounding, and been his only boss, working just to eat and be happy with little things, far away from the city and all the problems, with no frivolitys, just playing, playing with clay and the mind.
I know that one day will be a potter. 

Hunter X Hunter

Today I'm going to talk about the best anime ever made it: Hunter x hunter.
I started watching it in TV when I was 10 years old, in a programme called Tigritos Club, always to be broadcast in the morning, every day of the week. The anime was about 4 friends who wanted to be hunters (the most important qualification in this invented world), to get this title they had to pass many test and adventures. When they became to profesional hunters, they start to worked like a one, it means, use them abilitys to help the world resolving mysterys, sending odd things and killing bad people.
This anime was made it between 1999 and 2001, but in 2011 started a new adaptation, remastering the old episodes and continuing the history with one more season. I saw all the episodes again to watch the new, I was forgot many things. Every monday release a new episode of the new season that was about mutant ants who eat humans to be stronger and stronger.
You would think that I'm a weirdo who spend all his time watching japanese animations, but this is the only anime that I watch complete. I really love the history and the life in this imaginary world, even I read the mangas of the anime, because I was can't wait for the emission of the episodes.
Now I'm wating for new seasons, never lose hope.

Cellphones

I've never been so much close to electronic gadgets, I never had a game console or a personal stereo, I just played old games on my father's computer (always a junky PC) and listen to music on the radio or TV. But when the cellphones became so popular and portable I start to wish one.
Got my first cellphone when I was 11, it isn't last generation, but I was feel so happy because could talk to my friends and play games in everywhere.
When I was in 10th grade recived my first smarthphone, and since that moment I can't live without my cellphone. I had this device 2 years, and I lost it in a bus and just two days later I bought a new one.
One day, about 1 month later, I went to a birthday party and the display break because a friend steped on the cellphone. Then I work very hard to have money for a new device. I bought the same phone that I had before, a Moto E, because I found it very fast and cheap, I didn't need a great phone. 3 month later happen the same history, the screen was ruined. I have very bad luck.
Then, approximately in may, I bought a Samsung galaxy core 2, a indestructible phone, it resist many falls, but on december I lost it on the snow when I was visiting Cajon del Maipo. I was very sad. 1 week later, a woman contact me because she found my cell. Sometimes I have good luck.

My favorite subject

When I was in the school really like me to study History, because I always has attract me to know about the chilean history and the origins of the civilization.
The greek history is one of my favorites passage, all the myths and legends about gods and amazing creatures always inspire me. Besides all the important philosophers harbor in the antiquity.
But, the most important thing cos I like the history, is because we are made of storys and memorys, and we have to know why the world we live is like that, to can have an opinion, and learn about our mistakes.

Pre-Colombian Museum

The last year, in Taller 1, the teacher of means of expression told us to draw sketchs about the museum that is located nearly to arm square of Santiago de Chile. I didn't go to draw right there, just search pictures in Google to do the job. I didn't pass the course.
This year request us to draw it again, so, because I wanna pass the level, I went to the museum.
It was a really nice experience, saw all the art made it by our ancestors thousands years ago, paintings, sculptures, utensils, etc. Like me this place because the lighting is very interesting, how the works are iluminated by skylights and artificial lights, how received the flow people and this is introducing in the building.
Like me too the way that is preserve the old building (construct in 1805) and is modernise inside, using always the concept of the light and colors.

Hi, my name is Felipe, I'm from Paine. I like to draw, sculpt, listen to music (my favorite band is Pink Floyd), every night I fall sleep reading something, and I love to be with my friends, take a drink and smoke something to relax.
I'm 19 years old and be in my second year of architecture.
